Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

I hope you have as much fun seeing a peek into my week as I am posting about it!

Sunday~079/365
OK...I know I have already posted this picture here...but I accidentally deleted all of my Sunday pictures...I know right...but anyways...I reposted this one so I had a Sunday picture!
Moving on...

Monday~080/365 Monday evening we had some visitors...one of whom was this fun pup...Daisy! Colin loved all of the puppy kisses...xxxxx....

Tuesday~081/365 I love getting these teaching magazines in the mail...they have some great helpful hints! The only down side is that they only come every other month!

Wednesday~082/365 Wednesday Night's game vs the Giants...not sure what Colin was thinking at this moment! Sadly the Indians lost 13-14...their only loss of the season.

Thursday~083/365 One of my favorite desserts...warm baked chocolate chip cookies with whipped cream...YUM!

Friday~084/365 Even though we now live in AZ and are Coyotes fans when they DON'T play the Red Wings...the RED WINGS are playing the COYOTES in the first round of the play offs...and once a RED WINGS fan...always a RED WINGS fan! Let's GO RED WINGS...clap..clap...clap....clap...clap...

Saturday~085/365

Brendan & Colin played game 6 vs. the Tigers this morning and WON!! YaY Indians! With this meme I am really trying to find fun ways and angles to take pictures...and please note that all of my pictures are straight out of the camera...I hate to edit!

And then after the game...It was off to the grocery store for me! We are 'eating out of the pantry' which means we eat all of the food until it is gone and it is gone!!! So MAJOR grocery shopping was in order...Sam's Club AND Fry's!

This is what Sara says on her blog about Project 365...
"I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way! "

Well said Sara...thanks for letting me tag along!

Diary of a Baseball Mom...

...sadly I have been so busy that I have not have been posting about the boys' baseball games...that and the fact that they have so many...But I am back to review on games 4 and 5 since today at 10am will be game 6 and I don't want to get anymore behind than I already am!!!

Game 4: April 9, 2010...Colin at bat...
...for whatever reason...I just love this picture!
...Brendan's turn at bat...
...he slides into home...AND...he's safe!

...Colin got to pitch this game...he has an amazing arm! He wasn't so sure he liked it as much as catching though! Both positions are very nerve racking for this baseball mom! But he did do great!

INDIANS WIN...Game 4 Break Down: Indians 12 Braves 5; Colin 2-3, RBI, 2 runs, 1 IP, 3K/Brendan 1-1, 3 W, 2 Runs; Indians 4-0, 1st Place...THEY ARE DOING FANTASTIC!

Game 5: April 13, 2010
Ryan and one of the boys sitting in the dugout...sadly from this angle...I really can't tell if it is Brendan or Colin...I know...Bad mom...don't judge!

...These ladies are other baseball moms I get to hang out with during games!

...Ryan & Colin watching Brendan warm up...

...Brendan has his eye on the ball...good thing cuz it just missed him! Wouldn't be the first time he took a hit!

...Colin getting ready for his turn at bat...

This was the most exciting game of the season thus far...we finally got a team to give us a run for our money!! We were down most of the game until the last inning...and then it GOT exciting, but sadly we could not pull out a win...it was a hard fought game but the Indians lost by 1. Great Job Boys...Get'em next time!

Game 5 Break Down: Giants 14, Indians 13. Double play on last play of the game including gunning the runner down at home :( Colin was 1-1, single, walk, run; Brendan 3 walks, 3 runs. Record: 4-1.

Until next time...Let's Go Indians...

Where's Mom?! 52/52 Photos of ME............I DID IT!!!

Forever In Blue Jeans

Are YOU a mom? Are YOU missing from the pictures? Most moms I know are, but here is a fun meme that brings us moms out from behind the camera and puts US in the spotlight! Carin over at Forever in Blue Jeans is the hostess of this year long picture project; and just think, after a year, you will have at least 52 pictures with you in them! It can be scary, but com'on, give it a try! It's easy, all you have to do is hand over the camera and smile (or not, it is completely up to you!!). And the best part is, you can jump in and start whenever; for me this will be my 52nd AND LAST WEEK!

WCHS Jr/Sr Prom was this past Saturday (April 10) and Ryan and I were lucky enough to chaperone...well he might not think it's luck, but I had fun! This is our 2nd year to double date with another coach and his wife.

And something else special was that I was able to 'play mom' to 2 of Ryan's students as well...so much fun...I took them to get their hair done, their toes done and see them off! And then we were lucky enough to see them at the dance as well!

This is Ryan's TA and one of the football managers, Mitzy. She is the sweetest gal and her dress was ggooorrrgeous!

The theme of the prom was A Night in New York. It was a fun night, although much too short by my standards (8-11pm), and dinner was so very yummy. The 4 adults went to My Big Fat Greek Restaurant. All in all it was a fun night!

Now it's your turn to join the fun...hand the camera over, say cheese, and smile!!

Random Tuesday Thoughts...

*We needed a car wash BADLY...VERY BADLY...so we got one on Saturday morning!
*A sneak peek at WCHS Prom Saturday night...these 2 girls are like our daughters...I took them to get their hair and toes done and they got ready at our house and then picked up there too...I promise more prom pics to come later this week! BUT I must say...prom is so very much different 20 years later!*I see these beautiful flowers every morning peeking over my fence from my neighbor's yard...she has the prettiest yard...us not so much!*Court and Silvia came and hung out for a while on Sunday afternoon...not sure if I could handle having daughters...but I love to love on these girls!*I got these pretty flowers on Easter from my sister who came to dinner...and they are still going strong. So pretty...I love having fresh flowers on my kitchen table!
*Ryan gave me this rose from one of the tables at prom Saturday night and I thought it was so pretty the way that it is opening up.
*I am ALL about control...so for Brendan, and Colin for that matter, to have hair this long...IS DRIVING ME NUTS! He won't cut it for anything...NOTHING...and IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!! I have go to let it go...breath...breath..breath...I keep telling myself to pick my battles!*I think I said in my last Tuesday Random Thoughts that here it is sandal and painted toe weather...so I was finally able to go and get myself a pedicure...aaahhhh...to be pampered...I heart pedicures!
*I am not sure if you can see this...but it is my house thermostat and it says 80*...YEP...that's right...it was 80* on our house on Sunday night...but I am holding back with all of my might and NOT putting on our AC just yet. So we are sleeping with no covers in summer PJs and ceiling fans on high!
*OH and we got new neighbors yesterday and I havta tell you that the boys ARE SO EXCITED...cuz there is a boy their age that moved in and after one day they have all become fast friends!!

*And today would have been my Nannie's 90th Birthday...we celebrated her dancing with Jesus a month ago today...Happy Birthday Nannie...Love you lots.
