California OR Bust!

...WARNING...VERY LONG...VERY OVER DUE POST...LOTS OF PICTURES...LITTLE WORDS

Friday November 12, 2010
On the road to Buena Park, CA at 5am
Arrive at Knott's Berry Farms at noon
Me & the boys waiting in line to ride...
...THIS...I love me some roller coasters!

The boys racing to ride...

...THIS...I rode it too...SO.MUCH.FUN!

And then onto the Supreme Scream with Kerry...straight up...and straight down...
We had such a great time playing all day. After a fun filled day riding the coasters we headed back to the hotel for Subway and rest. Big day on Saturday...GAME DAY!

SATURDAY ON THE FIELD
Saturday November 13, 2010
Cobras vs. Cypress

Before heading to the field...meeting in the lobby for a pre game pep talk

Warming up

Let the game begin...

It was a great game...we came out strong...we scored on the first drive of the game

Brendan

The half time pep chant...love hearing the passion in the voices of these boys

Brendan getting some sideline coaching from the Defensive Coordinator

Colin getting ready to snap the ball

And the season is over...
We played with heart...we played with passion...we played hard
but
in the end we fell short...
COBRAS 18 - CYPRESS 19

The sadness lasted a few short minutes
Grandma & the boys

Me & my boys...it was a bittersweet end to a great season
...and sadly this will be the last season that the boys will be Cobras...they will both be moving up to Pee Wee next season...onto bigger and better things...from Cobras to CATS!

We weren't back at the hotel for more than a minute before the team headed to the pool for some spashin' around

After an afternoon of fun in the sun at the pool the team headed to
Medieval Times

We had never been to one before, but it was so much fun!

Our group all received blue crowns to wear; we later found out that this was the color of knight we would be cheering for during the tournament.
My mom, me and the boys before the show

While we ate the show went on...there were 8 knights...it was a great show

Sunday November 14, 2010
On our way outta town, back to reality, we stopped at Newport Beach to play for an hour or so. The plan was to walk on the beach and collect shells...

uummm...yea...that didn't last too long!

We had such a fantabulous time in Cali!
Thanks to Grandma for coming along and cheering on the Cobras!

Saturday December 4, 2010
Cobras Football Banquet
The boys will all of their coaches

The boys with Coach Steve
This is their 3rd year with Coach Steve as Cobras...
Thanks for a great 3 years...we will miss you!

...AND NOW...

What a fun trip! The Knight's restaurant thingy looks really cool. Was it a restaurant too?

I laughed when I read that you were only going to look for shells on the beach. Yeah, right. :D

Thanks for catching us up with the pictures! :D Love you pictures of your Cali trip. I'm so jealous that you got to go to Midieval Times. Glad you all had fun, and I'm going to miss the football pictures.
