Project 365

Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun! I hope you have as much fun seeing a peek into my week as I am posting about it!

Sunday~289/365
Sunday on the way out of town from our fun filled football weekend in Cali we stopped to play at Newport Beach. It was SO.MUCH.FUN.
We weren't supposed to get wet...that didn't last long...the boys had so much fun running & splashing in the surf!
I have always wanted to write the boys' names in the sand...so I took the opportunity & viola!

Monday~290/365

Seriously...didn't have a picture on Monday but when I was downloading my project 365 photos...I came across this...apparently Colin took my camera into the bathroom with him and decided to do some self portraits while in there!

Tuesday~291/365 Tuesday night Tiff and I went to the coaches' office to decorate for the Head Football Coach's 40th birthday...so much fun! He was happily surprised the next morning by all of the festive yet dark decor.

Wednesday~292/365 Wednesday after school the boys participated in booger wars...yes...BOOGER WARS! Each participant wore a velcro vest and had velco boogers thrown at them. They thought it was the best!! whatev!

Thursday~293/365

Thursday the Phoenix Symphony came with their string section and performed 2 assemblies for the school. I love the orchestra....

Friday~294/365

Friday...no picture...oh well

Saturday~295/365 Saturday I headed out with Tiff to buy things for our Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. We turned them in on Saturday night before we went church. I have started attending a new church {which I love} and was very excited to see that they participate in this program...I love it.

This is what Sara says on her blog about Project 365...
"I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way! "

Well said Sara...thanks for letting me tag along!

Sunday~289/365
After church on Sunday morning Tiff came back over for breakfast and to hang out...the boys even talked her into playing a few games of Guitar Hero!

Monday~290/365
Monday I needed some ME time...so I headed to Target to get away!

Tuesday~291/365 Tuesday night brings us to the LAST night of football practice for the 2010 season...whatever will I do with all of my free time?!

Wednesday~292/365
Wednesday night we all stayed up late...much too late...in preparation of Colin's EEG the next morning; and since Brendan didn't have school the next day {because of Veteran's Day} we let him {try} and stay up with us!!

Thursday~293/365

#3 EEG for Colin in the last 9 months...he did AWESOME...he was seizure free for the entire procedure! Yay...that means everything stays the same...for now!

Friday~294/365

Friday we left at the butt crack of 5am to head to Cali for the boys' football game! Upon arrival we headed to Knott's Berry Farms where we spent a day waiting in too long of lines for some super fun rides! The weather was beautiful!

Saturday~295/365

Saturday morning brings us to the LAST game of the 2010 Cobra football season. It was a beautiful morning for some football!

After the game we headed back to the hotel for swimming and hanging out; after awhile we headed to Medieval Times...FUN doesn't even begin to describe our night out...but more on that later this week!

Football Frenzy

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
WCHS Wildcats vs. DVHS Skyhawks
Friday November 5, 2010

Last regular game of the season
Senior Night
Bittersweet

Ryan's defense came out strong
Hitting hard

Dog Piled...would hate to be the Skyhawk on the bottom of that pile!

Stopping the TD...way to stand strong D

This was a nail biter of a game...
we scored first...
SO exciting!

Ryan's having a pow wow with his D while the offense is on the field

One of my new fav pics...some of the coach's wives with the field behind us

Robin, Stacey, Me, Dawn, Deborah

Heart pounding game...I think I stood the entire 4th Q...lots of cheering...lots of cow bell ringing...we thought we had it in the bag...

This game was the start all end all...we needed to win this game to proceed to the play-offs...we thought we did it...and then...they scored...

final score
WCHS WILDCATS 21 -
DVHS SKYHAWKS 24

And that's the season
{and just for the record, Ryan's Defense was one of the best in the state}

The end of the season is always hard, but this year it seems as though it was a little harder...a little sadder...the end of a season may or may not bring change...as a coach's wife you really never know what may happen after the season...only God knows.
Whether we are here or there next year...I will always be Ryan's wife..supporting him in the stands.

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun! I hope you have as much fun seeing a peek into my week as I am posting about it!

Sunday~282/365 Sunday morning took us to ASU's campus at the Wells Fargo Arena for our football association's cheer competition. We went to root on our Cobra Cheerleaders. They didn't place but they did a fantastic job! Here are the boys cheering for the girls as they came out onto the floor.

Halloween at the McCraken House...sports...did you expect anything less?!

Monday~283/365 I took a picture of my color combination today...I was loving the pink, black & white!

Tuesday~284/365 I voted on Tuesday...did you?

Wednesday~285/365 Aunt Judy & Uncle Frank came for a visit staying with grandma & grandpa...today they came over for a visit. We also hung out with them at Daddy's football game on Friday night.

Thursday~286/365 Well....the inevitable happened...sickness...blah! I think it's more allergies and sinus yuck than an actual sickness...and since all of the meds in our med cabinet were expired, new meds were in order! Both boys are feeling better, thank goodness!

Friday~287/365 After the game on the field; Brendan was at the 50 yard line all by himself...he was upset...this would end up being the Wildcats' last game of the season...they lost...no play-off birth for us...season over...so very sad.

Saturday~288/365

Saturday morning Ryan went to Dunkin' Donuts that just opened, up the street. YUM! And for coffee lovers they are offering free medium coffee for the entire month..too bad I don't like coffee...and too bad I do LOVE donuts...YUM!

After eating one to many donuts the boys and I headed to our school carnival. All grade levels had to host a booth through out the day...Kindergarten hosted the Lollipop Tree...object: pick a lollipop...if it has a green end you win a prize...if not you keep the lollipop...a win-win game if you ask me!

Football Frenzy

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
October 29, 2010
WCHS Wildcats vs. BCHS Jaguars

Before the game
Some of our injured players

Ryan getting his defense R.E.A.D.Y!

And that's how it's done!

I love when they point out their guys...yea that's right...I'm gonna get you

Time Out

Ryan very excited about a play

Watching the play
Ryan's defense held the Jags to only 24 points. At one point in the game we were only down by 6 and we thought we might have a chance to pull ahead...sadly that would not be the case. The Jags kicked a late game field goal to pull ahead and keep the lead.

WCHS Wildcats 15 -
BCHS Jaguars 24

Tonight is the Wildcats' last home game and last game of the regular season. It is also Sr. Night where the Senior football players, cheerleaders and band members are honored. We play DVHS Skyhawks and it is slated to be a tough game.

LET'S GO WILDCATS!!!
