Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com
A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

I hope you have as much fun seeing a peek into my week as I am posting about it!

Monday~038/365I think Colin took this picture of me on early Monday morning making lunches!

Tuesday~039/365

The boys eating breakfast. We are usually all up for school by 6:45am and leaving for school by 7:30am. I teach at the school where they attend, so they get their early cuz I have to get there early! They are such troopers! For whatever reasons...they (Ryan included) always eat their cereal with the box right in front of them...morning reading I guess!

Wednesday~40/365

Cheer practice...these are my 2 high school helpers, Silvia & Courtney. They are great...I wouldn't be able to coach without them...they are my suedo body!

Thursday~041/365

Ryan was in Vegas this weekend for the Nike Coaches convention and this is the note I found from him when I got home from school the afternoon he left. He, along with 5 other coaches, left Thursday after school and should be back this afternoon...he was missed!

Friday~042/365 Rough housing before bedtime...usually a daily occurrence! Love those smiles!

Saturday~043/365An after basketball Saturday afternoon treat! They both had a great game and their team came away with a VICTORY! Way to go Purple Vipers!

This is what Sara says on her blog about Project 365...

"I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way!"

Well said Sara...thanks for letting me tag along!

Where's Mom?! 45/52 Photos of ME!

Forever In Blue Jeans
Are YOU a mom? Are YOU missing from the pictures? Most moms I know are, but here is a fun meme that brings us moms out from behind the camera and puts US in the spotlight! Carin over at Forever in Blue Jeans is the hostess of this year long picture project; and just think, after a year, you will have at least 52 pictures with you in them! It can be scary, but com'on, give it a try! It's easy, all you have to do is hand over the camera and smile (or not, it is completely up to you!!). And the best part is, you can jump in and start whenever; for me this will be my 45th week!

So once again....this week was not very productive with pictures of me in them....so a'lookin' I went and found some of me from this past Christmas and since I was not blogging as much...these pics are new to you!

Above are me and the boys standing in front of the biggest Christmas Tree in AZ...it was huge...until a wind storm that is...you can't tell, but the top of the tree had blown off so they topped it with a ginormous santa hat!

Here I am posing with some of my Christmas presents! I was a good little girl! These fun glasses were from the gang over at He & Me + 3!

Ryan got me a new crock pot...which was something that I really really needed...and a beautiful bangle bracelet which I didn't need but I really really love!
Thanks honey!!

Now it's your turn to join the fun...hand the camera over, say cheese, and smile!!

Random Tuesday Thoughts...

...HHHHMMMMMM...where to start!

**I moved to Arizona to get out of the cold weather and this past weekend it has been cold and rainy...YUCK! I know I sound like a baby...especially to all of my friends & family in MI where they have had many snow days...but I am just sad and blue when the sun isn't shining here!

**We only have 57 days if school left...summer vacation can't come fast enough!

**The boys are in the midst of basketball season, are already signed up for baseball season and will soon be registered for football season...good grief...does it ever end??!

**I will be losing my better half for the weekend...where is he going you ask??? VEGAS...yep that's right...for whatever reason Nike thinks it appropriate to hold it's annual coaching convention there every February...at least this year it wasn't over Valentine's Day weekend!

**My oldest will be 10 in less than a month and for whatever reason I am having a really hard time with him turning double digits! I am also having a hard time coming to terms with me turning 37 this April...never have birthdays been hard for me...this year...not so much!

**I got my hair cut this past Sunday at Great Clips...just a trim really...and tonight I will be coloring it myself with the help of Nice & Easy...we are trying to save money any way possible so no fancy hair or nail salons for me!

**And last BUT certainly not least...I want to give a HUGE shout out to MiMi for making my blog look so awesome! She is the little leprechaun who made it look so green! I love it! Thanks Mimi!

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

I hope you have as much fun seeing a peek into my week as I am posting about it!

Sunday~030/365

Our heart day consisted of a giant heart shaped chocolate chip cookie that yours truly made and games of Sorry Sliders! Good fun!

Monday~031/365Monday we had off of school for President's Day so we headed to the movies! Ryan and I saw Valentine's Day and the the boys say The Tooth Fairy. Luckily both movies were playing at the same time at the same theater and were about the same length...so Brendan got Ryan's phone (which he thought was so cool) and we texted back and forth (on silent) throughout the movie to make sure they were ok! Both movies were very good! Not sure why Brendan looks as mad as he does in this pic...we all had a very good time!!

Tuesday~032/365 We got our first box of Girl Scout cookies...shortbread...yummy! Brendan hijacked them!

Wednesday~033/365 A daily sight...Ryan on the computer!!

Thursday~034/365
Can you say...GIRL SCOUT COOKIE ADDICTION?!

Friday~035/365

The girls basketball team was victorious in their last game of the season and there are my cheerleaders making a victory tunnel for them to run through! Way to go Lady Jets!

Saturday~036/365

Lazy day of laying around watching the Olympics...we love the curling!!

Sunday~037/365
Our new norm...Colin was still having some seizures while on his meds so they upped his dosage and he now takes 750mg of Ethosuximide daily. He is so great about taking his meds and is usually reminding me!

This is what Sara says on her blog about Project 365...

A Moment I am Gonna Miss

Pam over at Your Gonna Miss This is the hostess of this weekly meme that helps you to remember and cherish the little things in life!

Football is a daily presence in my life...the boys playing tackle football...Ryan coaching varsity high school football...and me cheering on all of my boys from the stands...

So it's only natural that when it's the 'off season' that it's not really the off season!
They play football in the house A LOT!
And not just 2 hand touch...

...We are talking full hands on tackling...

But they love it!

You can tell by the smile on Brendan's face!

And believe it or not...Ryan is one of the biggest kids I know!

So while Ryan can still handle it and the boys still want to have fun with dad...I will allow tackle football in my living room...just as long as the lamp doesn't get broken...cuz I know some day soon they are gonna be to old or to cool to play tackle football with their dad in our living room!

What are you going to miss? Visit Pam and let her know!

Nachos A La Stacey

...We LOVE Mexican food in this house...
One of our favorite dishes to make is NACHOS
...YUMMY...

First you carefully place the tortilla chips on a plate
Then you add and melt the cheese

And then comes the taco meat
Next you add lettuce

And finally you top it off with salsa & sour cream

And now it's time to ENJOY!!

YUMMY!!!
What kinds of food does your family enjoy??
