The last of Project 365 for 2010!!!

I know I am late..and I know I have not completed the entire year, but I am gonna call it good so that I can start fresh for 2011...I want to keep up with this project but I want to start day 1 with 1-1-11!!
Happy New Year!

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun! I hope you have as much fun seeing a peek into my week as I am posting about it!

Sunday~324/365
I know this is kinda gross...but it is my life! I spent the morning cleaning out my Dyson vacuum cleaner...you see...I shed...{hair that is}...TERRIBLY...and my really expensive vacuum wasn't vacuuming because of this nastiness...happy to report that it is now working just fine...my Dyson that is!

Monday~325/365
Monday Ryan helped me put things up around the house...this is our den-slash-sports room! The middle jersey was Ryan's varsity name jersey from high school....the boys first name jerseys...a name jersey from Michigan...and MY red wings jersey {Brendan Shanahan of course!}...and then on the black shelf is all of the boys' trophies and medals from all of their teams. Ryan's are all over the floor awaiting a small black shelf.

Tuesday~326/365

After numerous calls and trips to the post office...we FINALLY started getting mail. These are the presents we thought we lost in the mail BUT they finally showed up from Mimi & her gang over at He & Me + 3...our first gifts under the Christmas tree!

Wednesday~327/365Wednesday night I went to a Christmas cookie exchange...lots of fun and laughs with good friends & in the end LOTS of cookies...there were 15 of us and we each got half a dozen cookies from each lady...so yummy! I made Mint Chocolate Cookies...they are so easy to make and so very yummy! Here they are ready to go all bagged up and pretty with white tulle bows!

Thursday~328/365 My friend Crystal and son Z came over after meeting for lunch at Paradise Bakery. Ryan snatched him up and had fun playing with him and watching football.

Friday~329/365

Christmas Eve at my parents' house before church. A special present...Asian Yo-Yos...they are not as easy as they look! Here is my dad trying to figure it out!

Saturday~330/365 The tree & gifts on Christmas morning before the boys' woke up.

Santa brought the family tickets to the Cardinals/Cowboys football game on Christmas night...they were so excited! Here are the boys waiting to get into the University of Phoenix Stadium. Half of us were rooting for Dallas and half for the Cardinals! It was a GREAT game!

Sunday~331/365

I thought this was way too funny NOT to take a picture of...Brendan got not 1 BUT 2 Dallas Cowboys footballs...and how funny that he is now sleeping with them...on Sunday I found them under his pillows!

Monday~332/365 Monday morning (Dec. 27) we left for a quick trip to Cali to visit family friends! Here we are driving (Ryan driving, NOT me!)...he was teaching me to eat sunflower seeds...yes it is true...I was a sunflower virgin until then! lol And I couldn't pass up a pic with my seeds, palm trees and a snow covered mountain in the background.

Tuesday~333/365 Miranda and her new Christmas present...Tootsie...she was so very cute!

Wednesday~334/365

Wednesday was our last night in Cali...we celebrated Christmas and exchanged gifts...Colin received Loopz from his Auntie and they were having a blast playing with it!

Thursday~335/365 Driving home to AZ from Cali...I thought it so very funny to see snow cover mountains with palm trees in the foreground! And funny thing...the closer we got to home the colder it got...bbbrrrr...we now have snow covered mountains around us...something we haven't see in the 6 years we have lived here.

Friday~336/365 We are such the exciting family on New Year's Eve!! We stayed in, watched TV and ate some very yummy pizza from one of our fav places...YUM! We watched ELF, played some games and celebrated when the ball dropped in NY (which was 10pm our time!)...all were asleep before midnight our time!!

Saturday~337/365

New Year...New Calendar...Bring it on!
Wishing you and your family a blessed 2011!!

This is what Sara says on her blog about Project 365...
"I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way! "

Well said Sara...thanks for letting me tag along!
Join in with Sara...It's not to late to join the fun!

Your New Year's Eve celebration sounds a lot like ours! We got Italian pizza from our favorite pizza place, watched Elf, made smores, played Uno, and shot off some fireworks. Everyone was in bed by 10:30. :D

Happy New Year! I hope that 2011 brings great things for you and your family.

I shed horribly too - I really don't wanna clean out my vaccuum though - I'm sure it would look the same as yours :)

Lucas got Loopz too and loves it!

I think I'm going to post weekly on my project life too - that way I'll have it on my blog and in my album )

Oh, I miss being able to go to bed right after 10pm. We used to live in CA, but now reside in VA so it's midnight for us!

What fun to have snowy mountains. We got buried in snow last winter, but so far, we haven't had much in the DC area. Wish we had the palm trees.

I love that your son is sleeping with the footballs. Priceless.

See you next week.

Awww...looks like y'all had so much fun with the kids, friends, and family.

I notice you guys are NON-wrappers on Christmas morning. LOL! That's how I grew up, but my husband's family always wrapped theirs. So we wrap everything except what goes in the stockings. (I had to put my foot down on THAT tradition of theirs. WAY too much work!!) ;)

Ok, the hair? I could use some because I am going bald. :)
I love the footballs under the pillow. Priceless.
Bryce got Loopz too and loves it!
I am sure being from Michigan you can handle the cooler temps can't you? :)
Have a great week!
