Project 356

A picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!
Sunday~31/365
Sunday I stopped over my parent's house to see my aunt & uncle who are visiting from VA. Here is my mom & Aunt Marue...the have been the bestest of friends for over 40 years.

Monday~32/365

Thanks to Brendan's teacher for snapping this picture and emailing it to me...it's Brendan giving his oral book report on Sammy Sosa...he got extra points for dressing up like him too scoring an A+! Great job Bren! (his friend is holding up his stats poster that he made of his career)

Tuesday~33/365
I snapped this pic on my way home from school...beautiful sunset!

Wednesday~34/365 This little thing was NOT my friend...2...yes 2 of them decided to beep throughout the night...I was NOT happy...and with our high ceiling I had to get out the BIG ladder to replace the batteries...don't get me wrong, I am thankful they let me know when they need to be changed, I just wish it wasn't in the middle of the night!

Thursday~35/365I LOVE ladybugs...always have; so when Kennedy, my niece, saw this necklace she thought of me & bought it for me...awe...my cup runneth over...Thanks Keni...I heart it!

Friday~36/365

OK...so I know that a lot of you are going through some kind of season called winter {or something like that} but here in the southwest we rarely see that kind of cold...until this past week...can you say BBBRRRRR???!!...well this past week it has been the coldest in AZ's history...so cold that when I started my car Friday morning this is what my info board said...are ya kiddin' me?!

Friday after school we met my parents & aunt and uncle for dinner at one of our fav restaurants...Red Robin...YUM!

Saturday~37/365

While shopping at Sam's Club I found these...perfect for my kinders valentine day treats!

why is it that the batteries always wear out in the wee hours of the morning? And the challenge usually is to figure out which one needs to be replaced at that time in the morning. great pictures hope you have a great week

Beautiful sunset!

We had our cold temps in December, down in the freezing levels. But lately it has been very warm. I'm a little nervous it's gonna change its mind and we're all gonna really be cold then!

How fun you had family visit from another state!

My smoke detectors have been know to pull that a time or to also.

I too have had fire alarms beep through the night and it is enough to make you go postal on someone.

What are you able to eat at Red Robin and not blow your diet? I lost another 3 lbs this week! Yeehaw! I haven't incorporated exercise yet because I'm still working full-time and it takes EVERYTHING out of me. But I'm thrilled so far. And Chris even lied to me and told me I look thinner. hahahahahaha

I hope you have a great week this week!

Are we not the kindest people to share our weather. We did not want to seem selfish and hold all the cold bitter freezing temps to our selves....It's nice to share....LOL
Your week looked wonderful....minus the bad weather ahem!!!!

Gorgeous sunset picture! Love now the trees show up at the bottom...

The ladybug is too cute. I'm glad she thought of you.

Sorry you're having such cold weather. Dr. M & I talked about it & decided that folks who live in areas that aren't supposed to get that cold do have a right to complain about it when it starts freezing :)

Big ladders, middle of the night...I would have broken a leg or something worse. Sorry you are having such cold weather...just not supposed to be that way in your neck of the woods!!

That was really a beautiful sunset...I have seen a lot of those this week on my trip around the Project 365.

I like your sunset pic a lot.

And I'm beginning to think things like smoke detectors have some kind of hidden sensor that are set to go off at the most inconvenient times. I know mine do!

This weather is so not normal here in the south! I'm ready for Spring.

That's so funny that your car tells you when it's icy. Here in Michigan that light would wear itself out!

Have a great week,
Mimi

My car says something like that everyday around here. LOL Can't wait for spring.
I love the sunset pictures...the trees are so beautiful outlining it. Great shot. That is a framer!
I always think of you when I see ladybugs too. Love that necklace.

Great job Mr. Sosa!!
Oh the dreaded beeping in the middle of the night. I think they are programmed to do it at night on purpose!
I LOVE the driver board of your car. If I had that mine would have said, "Why are you trying to leave? There is a blizzard!" :)
Have a super week!

My detectors are on the really high ceilings too. That's quite a job to change them by the time you get out the huge ladder.

We have been having terribly cold weather this winter. Yesterday morning was -28! Next week we are supposed to be in the 30s! Yahoo....a heat wave!

Loved sharing your week. I had an aunt like yours. She was my second mother. She used to tell people that I was really hers....and I had been switched at birth with her oldest daughter who is a lot like my mom. Loved the sunset. It was so dramatic. I am a nut for sunset/sunrise photos. Can't wait to see next weeks.
