Project 365

A picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

Sunday~157/365
Sunday June 5, 2011
Sunday was the day that we drove an hour and a half north to drop our Colin Boy off at Camp Candlelight {a camp especially for kids with epilepsy}. He was SO excited; this will be his 2nd time going away to this camp and has been talking about it since coming home last summer! So here he is sitting on his bunk waiting for us to leave...which we finally did!

Monday~158/365

Monday June 6, 2011

Monday Crystal and Z came over for a bit. She brought me a bag of books for summer reading to borrow...happy sigh! And while we were chatting it up, Z was working out! Look at that strong boy!
Tuesday~159/365
Tuesday June 7, 2011Well...today was the day...I started my summer job...GASP (i know!)!!! Once upon a time I was the curriculum specialist for Tutor Time (before the boys were in school and I was teaching kindergarten). So today I spent 7 hours in a training...a training of most everything I have already learned. The best part...I got paid for it.

Wednesday~160/365
Wednesday June 8, 2011

Wednesday it was Mom & Brendan day! We started out the day with our summer fun movie, Ramona & Beezus and then headed to lunch at Sonic and then to friends' house to hang out!

Thursday~161/365

Thursday June 9, 2011

Thursday was my first 'official' day on the job. I am working part time (3 days a week) in the school age room. I will be one of the drivers for the field trips as well...which I am most excited about! I drove these before when I worked for them...it's like riding a bike! We went to the movies and saw Diary of a Wimpy Kid with 52 kids!

Friday~162/365

Friday June 10, 2011

Friday was the day my family became one again! My mom and I drove up to pick up Colin Boy. The talked non stop the entire way home! He had a FANTASTIC time!

Saturday~163/365

Saturday June 11, 2011

And this is what happens when you leave your camera unattended!! Above Kayla had her friend spend the night and they snagged my camera to take some shots for facebook and below Colin surprised me while I was hiding out in my bedroom reading a magazine!!

I'm a little surprised you like the field trips. Although I probably shouldn't be. I hate field trips- way to much work and so stressful! Hahaha

Did I ever ask if Kayla was living with you? It seems as though she is, but I'm not positive.

Looks like life has slowed down some for you. Nice!

So glad that Colin had a fu time at camp and that you got a mother/son day, too.

Great pictures of a busy, fun week. :)

At least you weren't wearing just your panties or something when he snuck in! :)

Glad your boy had a great time!

BTW... Our baseball season is now over too. It should have ended the same week as yours, but Elisha's playoff games got put off due to rain. His team placed third.

Sounds like a lot of good summer fun so far! Are you happy about your summer job? Or not? I can't imagine driving a bus of any size any WHERE. For that matter, I can't even imagine driving a van! Ha!

So glad to see Colin back home safe and sound. I'm glad he had a great time. Still can't believe that he is old enough to just leave for a few days at a time. *sigh* I remember when I saw him take his first step. Ugh!
You look great. Love your new hair do.
I think I need one of those busses just to park out in front of my house. LOL

I loved the family pics as always. How did the first days of your summer job go? I am taking this summer off. I need a break after all that went on this year. I spent a few days at the beach...it was awesome.
