A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

I hope you have as much fun seeing a peek into my week as I am posting about it!

Sunday~205/365

Happy Birthday to my MOM!!
Hope you had a great day!

Monday~206/365

Another Monday means another week on the football field. This week is the last week of 5x a week...thank goodness!

Tuesday~207/365While sitting at football practice a storm blew in...and it was a doozy with lots of heavy rain and lightening and thunder all around except on the football field...practice lasted the full 2 hours. And I must say that 2 stinky football players + 2 hours of rain = NASTY ride home!

Wednesday~208/365Wednesday was scrimmage day for the Cobras as well as for Ryan's Wildcats. Sadly they were at the same time, different fields so I only have pics of the boys' game. They started off slow but finished very strong! Colin is on starting offense & Brendan is on starting defense. They did great. Bring on football season!

Thursday~209/365
Sadly there is no pic for Thursday! It was a crazy busy day with school, meetings, football practice and curriculum night for me...my fault...I forgot!

Friday~210/365

We have been watching Colin's 'football' weight these past 3 weeks. In Pop Warner they have to be the 'right' age and 'right' weight to ball on specific teams. The boys play on a Jr. Pee Wee team where the age is 8-11 and no heavier than 105 lbs. Colin is close. If you have been a follower of my blog since last football season you might remember how he had to lose 10 pounds in 3 weeks...it was tough and I didn't want to do that again. Every night the boys would come home from practice and eat dinner (at 8:45 pm). Scrambled eggs was a favorite!

Saturday~211/365Saturday morning was football certification. This means that all the boys playing must weigh in with their starting weight. Both boys did great and weighed in under the max of 105 lbs. Games start this Saturday! Yay! Today was also my Dad's birthday...no pic, but I still wanna wish him a great day! Happy Birthday DAD!

This is what Sara says on her blog about Project 365...
"I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way! "

Well said Sara...thanks for letting me tag along!
Join in with Sara...It's not to late to join the fun!

Busy busy busy. Glad you are back. I am loving the football pictures...can't wait til Stunt Man gets to put on one of those uniforms. So cute.
Really they didn't stop practice even when their was thunder heard? Wow...we had to stop Model's soccer game because of one thunder boom. NOthing else happened but we still had to wait a half hour. Silly.
Happy Birthday to both your parents.

Happy birthday to your folks! I'm glad they had you :)

Don't tell the boys, but I think they're the cutest things in their full football gear - mini NFLers. Heh.

How fun that your mom and dad have birthdays so close together!
I can only imagine your "stinky" ride home after the rainy practice! Perhaps some Febreze was in order? :)
All the football pics are great! I think it would be hard to watch the weight so closely, at least for my boys!
Have a super week!!

Yay for making the weigh-in! I know this is a crazy busy time for you, but the boys sure look happy. How is school going w/the new teacher added to your team? Do you have an aide yet?
