Are Ya Kiddin' Me?!

So poor Colin was feeling down most of the afternoon because his brother got invited to a birthday that didn't include him :( I know, how sad, but we tried to use it as a learning opportunity to say that, you don't have the same friends and some day you will get invited to a party and Brendan won't...blah...blah...blah.

So anywho, he was pouting and feeling sorry for himself and not wanting to do anything that we had suggested and ran into the backyard to just get away from us! So, we followed him and as we were still suggesting things to do, Ryan picked him up and threatened to throw him into the pool!!

So what does Colin do, but kick off his shoes and say yea, yea, yea! And I was like

"Are ya kiddin' me?" and of course I have my camera and....

Ryan picks him up and I was thinking, oh he is just trying to scare him...

but NO...he actually threw him into the pool!!!
OK, it is warm today, probably mid 70's, but the pool is mid 50's!

Can you say BBBBBRRRR!!!!

Brrr.....when the water warms up, I am coming to swim (lol). Your home looks very nice and the weather sounds even nicer. Oh, what I wouldn't give for some warm weather!! Yep, it is snowing here yet AGAIN (URGH)

Oh my...I bet he was freezing!!!!! Seriously the birthday party thing ticks me off at times. Maybe it's just us but when we have parties we always make sure that we include everyone..parents and siblings because honestly I think it's rude not to. Lucas had one on Friday night and they refused to let parents or siblings stay if they desired. Jacob was so upset...I tried to explain to him that one day he would get to go someplace and Lucas wouldn't but he didn't understand..just kept on saying how much he missed his brother...of course as soon as he got home they were fighting again :)

The lessons of growing up are sometimes hard. Glad he found a way to fill the time!

Yes, we got your package a while ago...I didn't tell you? I am so bad. Did Colin like his stuff?

Oh my goodness!!! I bet he was cold but I know he loved it:)

The bday thing can sometimes be tricky. You don't know if it's OK it bring the others are not. But they do have to learn the hard lessons.
