Another week, another Wednesday, another Walk Down Memory Lane with Erica. Today we will be strolling back to October 2005. I found it fitting to post some 'fall' pics since we are, or most of the country anyways, in the mist of fall and pumpkins and cooler weather. But ya'll know that I live in the Valley of the Sun, so we do not have the season of fall here! {so sad I know}
After living in MI all of our lives and then moving here, we kinda went into withdrawal without any pumpkin patches or apple orchards, so one afternoon we went looking for one. This particular one was about 2 hours away.
Look at how little everyone is...oh my! My niece Kennedy joined us for the day.
Ryan with all of the pumpkins!!

(if you want to call it that!)
Ryan and I have been researching pumpkin patches to take the boys too next weekend. We found one that we would like to try, but it is 4 hours away...so we may try one that is a little over 2 hours north. We'll see and so will you, if we go! Otherwise I will buy my pumpkins at Wal-Mart...AGAIN...how sad, I know! Such is life when you live in the desert!!
Thanks for strolling with me! For more strolls, be sure to visit Erica!

I always buy my pumpkins at wal-mart too - because as you know with football you never know if you will get to make it to the pumpkin patch or not. I always love going and I'm hoping to go to one this year too - but it is always hard to fit it in. I like to get my pumpkins at the beginning of Oct and leave them out so pretty then the week of Halloween we decorate them. We just paint them for now - the girls really enjoy it. When they get older we will carve them hopefully.
I am so with you on this one. I haven't found a pumpkin patch here which means I had to buy pumpkins at a garden center. How boring is that?! I was happy to be able to put a few outside our door.
Sorry you have to drive so far to get to a pumpkin patch:( But I know the kids enjoy the adventure!
Those pictures are so wonderful, yes the boys have grown. We don't have a pumpkin patch even close around here. Too small of a population and too short of a growing season. I know your boys will have fun carving up the pumpkins wherever they come from.
Wow fun looking back isn't it. Your boys have grown.
I miss the pumkin patches in Portland, they have some great ones there. Here is just to short of a growing season, unless you go to the valley, maybe.
My favorite time of the year. Being in WI we have plenty of pumpkin patches to go to. If we don't make it to one, yes, there's always Walmart, :o(
I never let my kids get pumpkins at the pumpkin patch because it is too heavy to carry them all day! We always go for pictures but they pick out pumpkins at the nursery around the corner from the house!
Love the pics! They are soo little you are right...cutey patooties!
I think I need to load my kids up and head over to the Pumpkin Patch soon, huh? =0)
Thanks for joining me on my walk today. Your fall pictures are GREAT!
Here in Wisconsin we have tons of places to buy pumpkins, especially in our little town. We even planted a small patch ourselves this year.
Hope you find some pumpkins!
I guess every place has it's pluses and minuses. Sorry it takes so much to find a pumpkin patch...thank goodness however that any store can get them in for you. Happy Pumpkin hunting.
Now fall is my favorite season so I'm just not sure I could live without it. Poor thing :( I hope you all find a pumpkin patch and have some fun!
A lot of great memories are made with families in the pumpkin patch!! Looks like you made some of your own.
I just love going to the pumpkin patch. It's so much fun! :> )
I'm sorry you have to drive so far to find one, but at least you were able to go! YAY!!!
Blessings!
Laura
OMGosh, they are so cute. I remember these pictures. Too sad that you don't have a real pumpkin patch, and too sad that we haven't gone yet because every weekend we are booked solid or it has rained. Grrr. I want my pumpkin patch pictures. :(
