Project 365

Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

I hope you have as much fun seeing a peek into my week as I am posting about it!

Sunday~212/365

Sunday was a fun day...lunch with Crystal and night swimming with the fam!

Monday~213/365

Monday I actually had a minute to breath so on our way home from school we swung by Ryan's football practice, since the boys didn't have practice. 3 days last week we had excessive heat warnings so the Wildcats had late practices.

Tuesday~214/365
Another Tuesday...Another HUGE storm. This is the view from my chair. NOT fun!
Wednesday~215/365
The boys have joined band...Brendan plays the trumpet & Colin plays the trombone. This is the first night they brought their instruments home...don't be jealous that I get to hear all that noise, oh I mean music!

Thursday~216/365

Thursday night brings us to the first game of Coach Mac's 2010 football season! Normally they play Friday nights, but tonight they were being broadcast live on our local cable station! So very exciting. Ryan's defense were tough but not tough enough...they lost. Here is Ryan talking to his defense while the camera man was over his shoulder!

Friday~217/365
Not sure what happened but I missed a picture today...I was so excited that we had NOTHING after school! We actually had dinner as a family and hung out! that is 2 weeks in a row that I have missed a picture...promise to be better next week!

Saturday~218/365 Saturday brought us to the 1st game of the Cobras 2010 football season! Tough guys ready for some football!

This is what Sara says on her blog about Project 365...
"I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way! "

Well said Sara...thanks for letting me tag along!
Join in with Sara...It's not to late to join the fun!

Love the picture of the boys in the uniforms and the picture of you and Crystal. Nice sun flare. The view from your chair is not a very good one. :)

Busy week! Great photos. If I only miss one day, I feel fabulous :)

I do miss American football. Not that I ever understood it, but I liked the excitement, the feeling that hung over the crowd at high school games :)

Have a great week!

Wow! I'll bet in the busyness of the new school year you really begin to wonder where summer went.

Thankfully my children are not currently playing any kind of trumpet, but it's my daughter's dream to play a lot of different instruments. I already have a drummer! I don't need any more :0)

I love that your boys are so close in age that they are on the same teams and playing in band together.

Yay for Friday nights at home during football season! I don't think I would have pulled my camera out either.

Sorry Ryan's team lost (I actually was snoopy & looked it up on Monday - I was curious). Does the temp ever actually get comfortable during football season where you live?

Kain is playing the trombone thi syear too! His band teacher told them to wait until next week to put them together. So thankfully I haven't had to hear him "practice" yet..lol.

Another crazy busy week for you! I love that your boys are playing instruments! Hang in there and that "noise" will change to sweet sounds soon.
Love the night swim! That picture would convince me to put a pool in for sure. :)
Have a great week!!

love the pic of the boys tooting their own horns...but ummm...they are nekkid?? Surely they get uniforms to wear!! lol

Oh how I remember those days. My son played the trumpet, French horn and the base guitar. How many afternoons did I sit and try to unsuccessfully filter out the "noise" wafting down the stairs.

The DD is in orchestra and plays the violin, it is a bit easier on the ears...

Loved the pool picture!

Blessings

I love football, but I am from the midwest and it is WAY different than out here in CA. Sorry about the loss, here's to next week!!

Great pics!
Night swim, oh so inviting!
Football season, so exciting!
(Grandson plays, so games will start for us soon.)
Wind instruments, so familiar.
My father and brothers all played one or another. Only in the last couple years has my dad no longer been able to play. He is 89, failing and feeble.
Have a great week with you 19 precious little ones. What an important role you play in their lives.

Football and sweat and now the trombone and trumpet. Go get yourself some new nail polish, a fruity drink, a chic flick... and have a bit of girlie time.
On a night when there's no football to watch, of course.
Great pics!
