Alicia over at More than Words was interviewed at her blog this past week and asked if anyone wanted to join in on the fun. And I thought to myself, "Self, I am up for this"...so I commented and she emailed me and here are the questions and answers!! And this was hard for both of us, since I had just done my 101st list & post!!
So here goes nothing....
1. Who was your best friend in high school? And do you still keep in touch with her?
My best friend was Kristi. We met while working at KMart and were inseparable throughout high school. They called us Chip and Monk, because we both got our wisdom teeth pulled at the same time and had very swollen faces for a very long time!! (we looked like chipmunks, hence chip & munk!) The last time I have seen her was right before Colin was born, so let's see...that was 8 yrs ago. I am sad that I am not in touch with her, maybe I will try and reconnect.
2. Who led you to the Lord?
Let's see, this is hard to answer because there are so many people. My family attended church (not faithfully) while I was growing up. I attended church with my friend Carrie during grades
4-6 and then went back to my family church. I was sprinkled baptised when I was 7 yrs old and confirmed when I was 23 yrs in a Methodist church. Really good family friends led me to an Assembly of God church which I really liked and then I met MiMi and I started going to her church. It was there, that I really felt the Lord in my life and I recommitted my life to Jesus and was water baptised in 2003. I am thankful for all the people in my life that helped me with my walk.
3. Do you have a pet peeve? If so, what is it?
Oh yay!! My biggest pet peeve is when people dress up their pets in clothes! They are animals people, they have fur!! I also do not like when people dress up their cars, which I saw a lot of this Christmas...cars at Rudolph...really?!
4. Are you affectionate by nature?
Yes...I am a hugger :) I love to hug and kiss on my fam and growing up and still to this day, we, my family, always kiss hi and bye! Anytime we hang up, it is always "love ya".
5. What have you gained since you have started blogging?
Oh my goodness, I have gotten so much since starting this whole thing while on medical leave back in November. I have gotten a whole new support system from sisters in Christ! The out pouring is amazing. When I said that I had just had a hysterectomy, there were so many people that stepped up and showed support at a time I needed it. Also, to be able to share our daily doses of drama to all of our friends and family back in Michigan is amazing. They don't comment, but I know they read and cry and laugh and live right along with us, 2100 miles away!!
Those were some great questions Alicia, Thanks!!
If you would like to be interviewed, let me know!!

Hi Stacey,
Great questions and answers! It helped to get to know you more. I'm considering answering those questions, but I'm not sure if I'll have the time to do it. What do you think? Should I? :-)
Have a great day!
I enjoyed reading that, your best friend may pop up again, mine does every now and then and now we both work at the same hospital.
Loved your pet peve....I got it pet! Cute Stacey, I can also relate to the scoliosis that causes back pain 24/7--I have that and it stinks. Working out has helped me but this weather is too bad for 5am.
I'll admit I did dress my dog up once but does it count since it was on Halloween? :) He hated it and it was only a t shirt with a skeleton on it. I can't believe these people out there that spend as much on their dogs clothes as they do on their own. Oh my!!!! If only I had that much money to waste :)
Stacey,
I loved reading your answers!! And I'll play along...go ahead, interview me. Be gentle!
I just want to say I have loved our bloggy friendship and the more I learn about you the more I love...(really, truly...there, that should make the questions gentle, right?) lol
At least I keep you smiling, right? :)
Hugs to you, my friend! You know I love ya girlie!
Sure what the heck!! Bring it!! I could be sticking my foot in my mouth at this poing, but oh well!!
Oh I love this! I can't stand it when people dress up their pets either. I often wonder what the pet thinkS! Loved the comment about blogging and new friendships. I had no idea when I started blogging that there was such a great community of loving caring Christian women. I'm not sure now what I would do without all of you ladies!
Great questions/answers. I like this idea. I will play along. :)
I LOVE your new header pic. Great job MiMi.
Wasn't this fun! I loved reading your answers, I don't dress up my dog but sometimes when it's cold I put a sweater on her when she goes outside
Hi Stacey! Those were great answers!!! I always try to think of questions that I would like someone to ask me..LOL!!
I saw some puppy clothes at Old Navy and I thought, "How cute!!" But, I don't have a puppy, so I don't really do that! Haha!
I hope one day you'll be able to connect w/ your BFF from school!!
This was a great interview : ). I am glad you have found so much love and support in blogging world. I feel the same way! It's amazing!
I love reading things like this about you because I go through and see just how many I already know, because I really should know them all. Right? Ok! Good for me:)
I really enjoyed reading your answers to the questions. I may have to do this one soon, too. These were great questions! I am going to head over to Alicia's blog now and see her answers.
