Are YOU a mom? Are YOU missing from the pictures? Most moms I know are, but here is a fun meme that brings us moms out from behind the camera and puts us into the spotlight! Carin over at Forever In Blue Jeans is the hostess for this year long picture project! It is lots of fun, and just think after 52 weeks there will be at least 52 pictures of YOU in them! It can be scary, but com'on, give it a try! It's easy, all you have to do is hand over the camera and smile (or not, it's completely up to you!). And the best part is, you can jump in whenever; for me this will be my 18th week!
This week hasn't been very exciting on the photo front with the boys being away at baseball camp every morning and Ryan working a football camp for HS players, so there was very little opportunity for me to get into any pictures.
Instead, I took another walk, yes I took one yesterday too, down the memory lane of my hard drive to see what I could see! And this is what I found!!
This was taken in March of 2006 on a family trip to Disneyland. This was the boys' first extended trip there and we had so much fun! We stayed 3 days at the park and did everything we could! We even celebrated Brendan's 6th birthday there!
This is a picture of me and the boys waiting for the light parade to start on Main Street. Since it was mid March and the weather in AZ is pretty reasonable at that time I year, I didn't even think it would be different in CA; boy was I wrong! By the time the sun went down so had the temperatures!! What was a mother to do, except buy new sweatshirts all around! Here we are sporting our new duds (over our spring jackets mind you!)! That was one of the best vacations ever...I loved seeing the excitement in the boys' eyes at every turn!
I {heart} Disney and can't wait to go back!!
Now it's your turn to join the fun! It's easy, hand the camera over, smile and say cheese!

oh how sweet! I love the matching shirts... and what a good excuse to get them, right? :)
Thank you so much for leaving a comment on our Gracie fundraiser post. It is wonderful to see how God can bring good things out of painful ones.
Thanks again and have a wonderful week!
Sounds like you are all having a very busy summer already. Great picture for this week, what fun to buy matching sweatshirts! Great pic!
So glad the weather cooled down for you all, so you could have an excuse to buy those COOL sweatshirts and get a great picture all at the same time!
Great picture!!! Oh and I will be trying to get a sports cartridge soon to make just the pages you would like!!! Blog about my giveaway and get another entry!
Love the picture - we just got back from Disney, and I'm amazed by all the Mickey Mouse clothing we somehow acquired!
That is a great picture, and yes..California weather is so unpredictable!!!!!!!
We're due for a Disney trip again soon!
We went to Disney World when I was a kid.... and we all got Mickey Mouse shirts, too! I need to find one of those and post it next Wednesday for my Memory Lane post! I feed off of other bloggers to get my inspiration. Last week it was Nan, this week was you. Problem is that my mom has those photo albums. Darn.
I'll see what I can do!

I love Disney, too. And I love this photo. You must be missing your boys this week.
Thanks for your sweet comment. I really liked that pic and thought about framing it, too.
Poor thing, time alone :) I am a
2nd grade teacher and love when my sweet children are in a camp. I prefer day camps, because I miss them, but after teaching all year I love the little breaks all to myself. We love Disneyland, too. Cute picture.
Great Disney picture. I was 19 the first time I went. Our family has never gone. Some day, maybe.
It's fun walking down memory lane. I've got to learn how to scan becaues I don't have any old photos in my hard drive.
Have fun with your boys.
Great Picture!
We Love Mickeyland!
