Project 365

Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!
I hope you have as much fun seeing a peek into my week as I am posting about it!

Sunday~128/365

One of the many pictures taken of the boys playing street hockey in the living room. This is a FAVORITE past time of my boys! All boys all the time at the McCraken house!

Monday~129/365 Monday was Memorial Day. This year we hosted our 4th annual McCraken Memorial Day BBQ for all of the WCHS football coaches and their families! It was a blast! Over 40 people were at our house for fun, food & friendship! This little man was enjoying the 4 berry salad out by the pool!

Tuesday~130/365 Tuesday morning I headed to Coffee Time at a friend's house! (another coach's wife to be exact!) So much fun...the kids played while we sipped on coffee {hot tea for me} and chatted!
I ♥ summer!

Wednesday~131/365
Wednesday afternoon I headed to my friend Crystal's house for lunch and a visit! We havn't seen each other since school got out...2 whole weeks...that's a really really long time for 2 people who used to see each other everyday! Here she is with Baby Z!

Thursday~132/365 Thursday was the start of our Summer Movie Fun! The deal is this...10 weeks~10 movies~$7! This is our 3rd year of doing this! On this particular morning we watched Charlotte's Web. Out of the 10 movies, I think we have seen 5, but I don't mind since it's so cheap and a great way to get out of the house!

Friday~133/365
While over at Crystal's on Wednesday I raided her bookshelves! She loves Barnes and Noble and she loves to buy books...so I asked if I could check some out of her library! The best part...no due dates! I can't wait to read them! I am on book #3 from the library and then I will start on this stack! I read a lot in the summer as it is the only time throughout the year that I can actually enjoy it!

Saturday~134/365 Saturday was a fun filled day of swimming and football! I babysat 2 little girls on this day because their dad, who is a coach, had a passing tournament all day (with Ryan who is also a coach). We met up with another coach's wife and kids and swam then went to dinner and finally headed to the football field to see some Wildcat football! Yep not even fall and we are on the football field already! They were in a 7 on 7 passing tournament (which means no tackle and no rush on the QB) and a Big Man competition for the linemen! It was lots of fun but very very hot. I think the temp was close to 110* today and Ryan was out on the field from noon-8pm. So anyways, the picture for today is the kids in the back of one of the coach's trucks at the football field!

This is what Sara says on her blog about Project 365...
"I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way! "

Well said Sara...thanks for letting me tag along!
Join in with Sara...It's not to late to join the fun!

I love to read! I wish I had more time to do it but everytime I think about it I always feel guilty bc I know I could be doing something else around the house. Right now I only do it at bedtime.

That is a stack of books you got there. How fun to entertain 40 people at your house. Not. You know me. Claustrophobic. Take it to the church for a party. LOL That little boy was cute and I think I might steal his salad.
Jealous of the movie thing. great deal.

110 already? I guess that's Arizona for you. We have a movie deal here too $5.00 for 10 movies if you pre-purchase the tickets, otherwise they are $1.00 each. Thanks for the reminder so I can get those tickets paid for now :)
I've been reading a lot lately too, so that stack would be very welcomed. Although I do buy a lot of books because if I like them I want to be able to read them again sometime.

What a fun summer week! That sweet little berry face is the best!!
I think that stack of books looks wonderful! They would look even better being read by the pool.
Can't imagine watching football, let alone playing it, in 110 degree weather!
Have a super week!!

I love the movie thing! That is so cool, I wish we had something like that. And the books...ahh, I love me a good book. You've got my new favorite author sitting in that stack.

What a busy week! I think of summer break as laying around eating bonbons - I guess not, huh?

I'm interested in the Handle with Care book - let me know how it is.

Street hockey on the living room floor?? Clearly I do not understand sports or boys. But what's new? :)

So nice to have coffee/tea dates with a friend. I need to get better about scheduling those!

That's a great movie deal!! We have a theater that does one free movie per month through the summer...or something like that. That reminds me that I need to check into the dates...

Happy reading!!!
