On Thursday December 31, 2009 we had friends over to ring in the new year. Nothing big. Nothing special. Just good friends, good food and good fun!
We grilled burgers and dogs with all the fixin's, played, talked, laughed until...
...the clock struck 10pm! Yep you read it right...we rang in the new year at 10pm AZ time which was midnight NY time! With the little ones, we thought 10pm was late enough so we watched the ball drop on CNN and toasted in the New Year with lots of good cheer!
We had sparkling cider (YuM!) and hats and noise makers and confetti and lots and lots of fun!

Hope your year is blessed...are you moving to michigan in 2010? :) Only Lord knows right? Cute pictures!
So fun! That is a great time to ring in the New Year! We should've thought of that when we were in Colorado! Love the pictures! Happy New Year :)
Looks like a great time. Good friends and fun!
10 p.m? Sounds like a smart idea. Now in my case, it would not be too bright to ring in the New Year at 5 a.m. England time which is midnight in N.Y. I like your scenario better! In any case, we celebrated at midnight U.K. time and all had a blast.
Happy 2010 to you and your family, Stacey.
I was very surprised when Carson my four year old was wide awake at midnight. I thought for sure he would of conked out early but he was still going at 1am.
Happy New Year!
Wish we were able to celebrate then because of a time change!!
I was ready for bed myself:)
Looks like y'all had a great time!!
Hope you have a blessed New Year!
That is my kind of New Year...10pm...perfect.
Hope 2010 is a wonderful year for you all in AZ...and I can't tell you how good grilling out sounds. YUM!!
Wow! that sounds like a blast! It looks like you all had a great time!
Welcome back. I finally caught up with you. Your boys Christmas looked wonderful! You were probably more blessed watching them. Sledding looks fun too. Too cold here in WI to go, but by the end of the week it will be much warmer, so I think we must head out to the hills. Fun looking New Year celebration too.
Hope you are having a wonderful start to 2010. I am behind but still feeling blessed!!!
HUGS!
