Project 365~Better Late Then Never!!

Sorry Sorry Sorry this is so very late! I have been having fun on vacation and playing at the lake house and well just....enjoying summer! But nonetheless...here is my Project 365!

Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!
I hope you have as much fun seeing a peek into my week as I am posting about it!

Sunday~156/365 Mitzi, one of Ryan's students (who is also one of the football managers) came over and had dinner with us on Sunday. She is so sweet...I just love her (as do the boys!).

Monday~157/365

Boys...pre-haircut.

Tuesday~158/365 And we are on our way...red-eye to Michigan. The flight attendant hooked us up with some yummy treats (for free) before taking off!

Wednesday~159/365 After a short nap (jetlag....3 hours plus red eye flights make for some very cranky McCrakens!) we headed to Gramma & Papa's lake house and played some games before actually heading to the lake!

Thursday~160/365 The boys were trying to catch fish using a white bowl & their hands...think they caught any this way??!

Friday~161/365 Friday afternoon we headed into town and ate at an A&W (old-fashioned) drive-in! So yummy & lots of fun...the boys had never eaten at one before!

Saturday~162/365 Saturday our cousins came to play at Gramma & Papa's lake house too! We got to decorate their boat for a 4th of July boat parade and ourselves!! Lots of fun swimming, playing, eating, and hanging out!

This is what Sara says on her blog about Project 365...
"I am attempting to take one photograph each day of this next year. My hope is to be able to slow down and see the small things, become a better photographer and to be reminded of the many blessings God sends my way! "

Well said Sara...thanks for letting me tag along!
Join in with Sara...It's not to late to join the fun!

I think that the 4th of July boat picture was my favorite. That sounds so fun. So sad we didn't get to make it to the lake. Maybe another time. That is so cool that you got all those treats for free on the flight. That's my boy.

I'm guessing YES, they caught fish! Great week, looking forward to your stay at Mimi's.

The picture of the boys in the decorated boats is so fun!

You took the red-eye? That's impressive. I'd do that but my kids are still too young... but I'm not sure my husband would be up for it.

Snacks for free?? That sure doesn't happen anymore.

Did they ever catch any fish with that bowl?

And may I say, I LOVE A&w!

Now THAT looks like a fun week! I'm glad you got to spend some time with the folks. The kids look really cute with all their 4th gear.

Gotta say the best pic is the one of the boys in their 4th attire!! Love it!

Nice. Free snacks!!

Sounds like your trip to see family was lots of fun, despite the crankiness brought on by the flight. Games, parades, and fishing, even fishing that isn't all that productive, makes for lots of special memories. Hope your trip home is better!

Such handsome boys with their haricuts!
I am impressed that you got free snacks...must be those cute faces. :)
I am guessing no to catching the fish that way. If they did, I am really impressed!!
What part of Michigan were you in? You're getting closer to my neck of the woods!
LOVE the decorated picture. Did you and Ryan decorate yourselves too? :)
Have a super week!

Great pictures! Great fun! My first job (after cleaning houses) was at an A&W near my high school. I worked there my whole Senior year.

Most A&W's are gone around here now. I loved their floats & shakes.

What airline gives out food for free? Just sayin'!! My last experience was not so good and when you fly that long, it can make ya grumpy.

So how was the fishing with the bowl? Looks fun.
Take care,
Nannette
