Today was home opener for Brendan & Colin's football team, the Cobras
After last night's loss with Ryan's team, we all wanted the taste of victory!
We were up and out of the house by 7:30 this morning and to the field by 8:15am...
...it was near 90* that early in the AM!
Here are the boys practicing before kick off
Colin is the center (#60) & Brendan (#80) is the left tackle
Pre game speech from Coach Steve......WE DO THIS TOGETHER...
Coin toss...Brendan was one of the captains
They are so cute...walking out hand in hand, listening to the ref, watching the toss and then shaking hands with their opponents!
We played the GladiatorsColin is snapping the ball and Brendan is to his left

The boys did a GREAT job! Colin was starting offense and Brendan was starting offense AND defense.
And even though it was hot...I loved cheering on my boys!
Congrats Cobras...GREAT way to start off a GREAT season!

They have their own cheerleaders? WOW! You folks are serious about football out there.
We have no school tomorrow. The strike continues. I hope it doesn't last 3 weeks.
When I went into 11th grade there was a 2 week strike. It about killed me. I couldn't wait to go to school that year.

Oh, what a GREAT start!!!! Congratulations COBRAS on winning their first game.
Sadly, as you know,we MISSED ours. That's okay, there's always THIS Friday. GO FALCONS!
Great pictures Stacey. That is so cool that they both play for the same team. That would make cheering for them even more fun. I love watching my son and cheering him on too. But he plays baseball. It wouldn't matter what it was. I would love watching him play anything. That is just the way we moms are huh?
