Another Moment I Am Gonna Miss...Building Forts

Pam over at Your Gonna Miss This is the hostess of this weekly meme that helps you to remember and cherish the little things in life!

Over Christmas, Ryan & the boys made some forts.

Lots & lots of forts!

Ryan showed them how to use chairs to make it higher and more stable.

The forts stayed up for days and on many of the nights, the boys 'camped out' in them! This has become a favorite activity of the boys...every blanket and comforter in the house comes into the living room to become part of their fort!

I will miss the day when forts become uncool and they no longer want to 'camp out'! So for now I will let them make a mess of my living room and camp out...as long as it is not a school night!

What are you going to miss? Visit Pam and let her know!

Hmmm... I might just have to build a fort for my kids today. It has been a while. I am going to miss forts one day, too.

Forts look fun. Except I get clostrophobic..so, that means no forts, or tents for me...BUMMER that is dad thing!

My kids used to do the same thing. We came up with another way to do it. Set up a foldable card table and drape the blankets over that. It works great!

How fun. I make them do it in the basement. LOL cause my OCD kicks in. What a cool fort that even dad could go in. Ryan looks more happy than the boys. LOL Love it.

Fun! There's is nothing more fun than fort making!!! Maeci hasn't made one in awhile but still loves it. Jake (big brother) used to make some very cool ones for her! Great pictures!
