Diary of a Baseball Mom...

...another game...another V.I.C.T.O.R.Y.!
On a H.O.T. Saturday morning, the Indians took on the Tigers and tamed them!! It was such a better game then last Wednesday. (Ryan and I chalked up last Wednesday's loss to a day of state testing. You see...last week kids in grades 3rd-8th had to take the AIMS testing...and it was an all day test...and not just one day BUT an entire WEEK of testing. The entire team was mentally exhausted and by the time they got their mojo working it was just a little to late!) So ANYWHO...the above pic is that of Colin swinging his little heart away!

...and then it was Brendan's turn!

...I am really like the effect of the fence in my baseball pictures!

...Colin playing the field. Both boys made awesome plays in the field this game...Brendan actually dove to catch the ball and threw the runner out at first. Colin got a ground ball and almost had a double play.

...uuummm...excuse ME...YOU don't look baseball ready!!!!

...THAT IS MUCH BETTER!

...so after the final swing of the bat and the final out...hands are shaken and bases are run and that is how it is done! Way to go Indians!

Break down of Game 6: Indians 14-Tigers 9 Brendan 0-1, 2 W, 1 run; Colin 1-2, HBP, 1 Run; both boys made great plays in the field. Record: Indians 5-1...next game...Thursday...Let's Go Indians!
