...seriously...I JUST went through this with Brendan a few months ago when he had a birthday!! Who said you could grow up...NOT this mom!! But it's happening...faster than I would like to admit! This is my Colin Boy and today he turns 9...WHAT...when did that happen?!

TODAY HE TURNS 9!!
Yesterday we celebrated his birthday, along with Mother's day, with grandma & grandpa and Aunt Jen & Kennedy. He opened presents and then we went to Saddle Ranch for dinner...can you say YUM!
...AND this is the dessert we got (for free!!) to celebrate his birthday (along with mine!)

I can't get over how fast the time goes by-we can be stuck in the day or week and think it is just crawling and then there goes 5 years in the blink of an eye.

Josh will turn 18 in 11 days..can you believe it? We leave for his graduation on the 26th..come home on the 30th..have his boot camp send off party on the 5th of June and then he leaves on June 9. I'm a little frayed, but knowing he is right where God wants him to be ...well, it is well with my soul. This is what we Mom's are called to do isn't it? Raise them to be young men.
