Letters Of Intent

Foursons
Dear Dr. D.,
Thank you for taking the time {ahem} to meet with me and Colin...not sure if you remember us, but we remember you. You did surgery on Colin a mere 5 years ago...remember?? NO?? That's OK since you are a busy surgeon and all. Anywho...
...what I really wanted to say was THANKS for making us wait...not just on Tuesday but the last time we were supposed to meet {3 weeks ago} and you were called away as well! I can appreciate you being who you are and that you have lots of things to do, but you see sir, I do as well...but I am OK with waiting (maybe). Your exam room that we were in wasn't FREEZING and CLAUSTROPHOBIC at all...so sitting in there for an hour (or more) was painless...
...we found things to occupy our waiting. For instance I {tried to} read, but Colin was bored so he made it kinda hard for me...wanting me to pay attention to him and all...geesh!So what did we do?...well, of course, I had my camera, so we pulled it out and started snapping away!

And then you finally graced us with your presence {thanks so much} and gave us a few options about what to do. I will have to talk to my hubby and get back to you regarding those choices though. Please don't mind the wait...

Best Regards,
Colin's Mom

Have something to say?...Write a letter and link up with Julie!

And I totally feel your pain on waiting. The last three times I've been to the doctors office for one of the kids I've had to wait for a minimum of an hour and 15 minutes in a room with 4 kiddos-talk about wanting to scream!

Oh my goodness, this is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves! I abhor doctors who feel that my time in not valuable but my wallet is. I assume he's suggesting surgery. Good luck and thanks for linking up!

Cracking me up with colin's big mouth. I love it. You could have totally read that whole book in the wait time to see my doctor...whom I love very much. I wouldn't mind the wait if the kids weren't there. LOL

I hate waiting at dr's offices too.

Why did you take a picture of him? Just curious!

Oh, the dreaded "wait"...we reallly should charge them for "our" time!! Great pictures!!

I agree with Julie - we should charge THEM for OUR time, which is just as valuable as theirs. And it seems like the specialists, God bless them, make us wait even longer than the regular pediatricians!

Ha! Maybe you should go in with scrubs on and then tell him you are a surgeon as well and make him wait!!! Too funny!
