More Football Madness, Cobra Style!

So another Saturday morning we were once again up at the BUTT.CRACK.OF.DAWN. Is this ever going to end, why yes, yes it is! Next week is their last game (and I am not grinning like a cat or anything about that!) thank goodness. No, I love being a football mom and wife, it consumes my entire fall and I usually don't even realize an entire season has passed until Thanksgiving! So this morning we were up at 5:45 am to leave the house at 6:15 am to be to the field at 7 am for an 8:3o am game. And it was CHILLY when we left, although the sun soon rose into a beautiful sunrise (God Is so GOOD!) and warmed us up. We were up against the Intruders of DV and to our dismay, they beat us. They beat us bad, so bad that I am not even sure of the score. But hey, the score doesn't matter; all that matters is that the boys both had an AWESOME game AND both sets of grandparents were there to watch. And, at the end of the game the entire team even got medals for playing in the 'bowl game'. They were so excited to be able to share it with Grandma & Grandpa and Gramma & Papa. So we headed home for showers and PB & J sandwiches (yummy!). For the rest of the afternoon we are gonna chill, watch some college football and hang with the grandparents!
Serious face for a serious game~I love this kid!
Warming up in the chilly morning!

Colin (#60) was one of the captains for this bowl game!

Brendan (#75) keeping the play to the outside!

Colin sticking him! Way to go Colin!

Nice pics of the boys, love the action shots. We are a hockey family much like you guys with football. Hockey seems like it is year round and when we do get a break it seems like the break lasts for ever.
