Scientist of The Week!

The Mad Scientist!

Brendan has an amazing teacher. She gets her class excited about learning; I love it. Every week she chooses 2 students from the class to be scientist of the week. They are each given an experiment and have a week to work on it along with their presentation of said experiment. Brendan was assigned an 'Indoor Rainbow'. We had to get together the necessary supplies and then practice it, all the while talking about what was happening. We needed a glass, mirror, flashlight and dark room. Easy enough, right?! Read my "Not Me!" Monday to see how easy is wasn't!! :) (I broke the mirror while we were practicing, I know. Nice going Mom!) So we got another mirror and today was the big day. Being on medical leave does have its advantages, as I was able to go and watch (and of course take pictures) as Brendan presented his indoor rainbow. He was so nervous, but did an awesome job! (He got to wear a white scientist coat and everything!) The entire experiment lasted about 10 minutes and he found the rainbow! Great job Brendan!
