I voted. How about you?

So on this beautiful Tuesday morning, I got the boys up and off to school and thought I would wait until about 10 am to go vote. I had heard that the hours of 10-2 were the best time to vote. So since I am still on medical leave (I know, I only 2 more weeks and then I go back to my "normal" life!), I thought I would take advantage and vote then. But I got too antsy waiting, so about 9:30 am, I packed up a bag with my ID, phone, book, game boy (Yes, I play game boy. I am addicted to playing Skip-Bo on Brendan's game boy!) and water and headed to my polling place. I decided to walk there since it is just at the school about 2 blocks away. I was anticipating long, slow moving lines, but to my amazement, my line, M-Z, was very, very short (like 5 people ahead of me) and moved along quite quickly. The other line, A-L, unfortunately was not as lucky as the end of the alphabet, and when I was done voting and walked out, had hardly moved at all. I was home by 10am. Half an hour, that was it! So there you have it, I voted and it was painless! Now you go vote!

awesome! There was no line for me. Luckily my neighbor pointed me to my district so I didn't have to stand on the line to find out what table to go to. We didn't get a cool "I Voted" sticker like you did!

I was able to walk right in and out in ten minutes. Heard about horrible waits and everyone else that was around here had to wait forever...must of gotten lucky :)

I miss the booth, we did pen and paper--boring. The kids wanted to push the levers.
